1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Altapano (“we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you access altapano.com (the “Site”), contact us, or purchase a product from us. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Site for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. Shopping with us

We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors and details may appear differently depending on your screen, and measurements may vary slightly. Product availability, specifications, and prices may change without notice.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in the currency displayed on the Site. Taxes, duties, and other charges are shown at checkout when we can calculate them. You are responsible for reviewing your order details before submitting payment.

3. Orders and payment

An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment because of stock errors, pricing or payment issues, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, or other reasonable operational concerns. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.

Payments are processed by Stripe and other payment providers shown at checkout. You confirm that the payment method and billing information you provide are accurate and that you are authorized to use them. We do not store full payment-card details.

4. Shipping and returns

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier, customs, weather, or other events outside our control. Your responsibilities and our process are described in our Shipping Policy.

Eligible unused items in their original condition may be returned within 60 days of delivery. Exclusions and refund timing are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site. In particular, you must not:

• break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or submit false information;
• interfere with the Site’s security, availability, or normal operation;
• introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
• scrape, copy, or exploit the Site for unauthorized commercial purposes; or
• use the Site to send spam, commit fraud, or harm another person.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site or others.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its text, branding, graphics, photographs, product designs, and software are owned by or licensed to Altapano and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Site for shopping and other lawful, non-commercial purposes.

If you submit a review or other content, you keep your ownership rights and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, edit for formatting, and display that content in connection with our business. You confirm that your submission is accurate, lawful, and yours to share.

7. Third-party services

The Site may use or link to services operated by others, including payment providers, carriers, analytics services, and social platforms. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we do not control.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that access will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Product warranties are limited to those expressly provided with the product or required by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Altapano will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities. Our total liability arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where Altapano is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts with jurisdiction there will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date shows when the latest version took effect. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter an order already accepted unless the law requires otherwise.

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms and the policies linked above form the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Site and purchases from us.
